Each SquaredUp instance should have only one SquaredUp licence key installed. This is usually either a trial licence, or after purchasing SquaredUp the Primary Production licence. You may have both a Primary and a trial licence installed, for example, if you are trialling new features while considering a licence upgrade.
To check which licence is being used by an instance of SquaredUp, open SquaredUp on a particular server by using the localhost address on the server itself or using the server name in the URL, for example http://localhost/SquaredUpv4/
or https://server1/SquaredUpv4/
- In SquaredUp click on the right-hand menu ☰ and then on system.
- Click on the licensing perspective.
From this licensing perspective you can remove a licence, but if you accidentally remove the active licence you may not be able to access SquaredUp again without contacting SquaredUp Support.
The Primary Production licence should be used on your SquaredUp production server.
The Secondary licence is not currently used with SquaredUp for Azure.
The Dev/Test licence is for your test environment.
