4.2.0

Known Issues

Improvements

  • Web API array support - The Web API tile now supports multi-object query building via mustache style code snippets. You can write your own dynamic query strings based on a list of objects from the tile's scope, or add and edit the mustache style example code snippets. Mustaches in the query can now also include JavaScript to manipulate the SCOM property values being inserted, for example, simple JavaScript string manipulation functions such as split() and substring().
  • Scoping improvements - Tile scopes on perspectives now include realtime contextual suggestions based on the current scope's relationships. These dynamic suggestions allow you to quickly find a relevant scope for your tile, in a way that is more intuitive than navigating the SCOM object model for classes and groups.
  • Perspective hiding - Each perspective now has a suppress (hide by default) option, so whilst a perspective might be targeted at all members of a class or group, you can also choose to hide it from a subset of objects. This presents a simpler, tidier perspective ribbon to users, and if required, users can click the show more button to view suppressed perspectives.

  • Visio tile does not display all elements contained in the .svg see Troubleshooting the Visio tile (SU-6980)
  • Image tile does not allow uploading of new images (SU-6966)
  • Unable to activate with a valid key after attempting to activate with key for an invalid edition (SU-6793)
  • Using Scope criteria in perspective scoped to relative objects results in long load times (SU-6577)
  • Enabling a dashboard for Open Access within a Team Folder causes Everyone permissions to display as View, when in practice they do not have View permissions (SU-6160)
  • Web APIs secured by OAuth2 Client Credentials or Password grant types become unauthorised once the refresh token expires (SU-6742)
