Operations Manager 2012 Data Warehouse Health Check Script

Dashboard Server asked Tao Yang to build a Health Check tool specific to OpsMgr Data Warehouse databases, in order to help identify and troubleshoot the performance related issues with the Data Warehouse. Tao has produced a script which focuses on the Data Warehouse component, and produces a HTML report.

The report produced consists of the following sections:

  • Management Group Information
  • Data Warehouse SQL Server information
  • Data Warehouse SQL DB information
  • Temp DB configuration
  • SQL Service Account Configuration
  • Data Warehouse Dataset Configuration
  • Key SQL and OS performance counters
  • Collect Data Warehouse performance related events from each management server
